Blood Refreshed Supply Is the Definitive Comeback for a Cult FPS Legend
After years of demand, Blood is returning once again. Nightdive Studios has announced Blood Refreshed Supply, a renewed remaster of the 1997 horror FPS that promises modern upgrades, new content, and console support for the very first time.

At its core, Refreshed Supply builds on the earlier Fresh Supply release but takes it further. Expect 4K resolution, higher frame rates, local split screen and online co op, cross platform multiplayer, mod support, and behind the scenes extras. Two brand new mission episodes are confirmed, with Marrow arriving at launch and Death Wish coming post release.

For the first time ever the game will also land on consoles. Blood Refreshed Supply is scheduled for release on December 4, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. A Switch 2 version is set to follow in early 2026.

Players will battle through 42 levels filled with cultists, zombies, gargoyles, hellhounds, and other twisted horrors. The arsenal includes classics like the Flare Gun, Napalm Launcher, Voodoo Doll, and Life Leech. All official expansions, including Plasma Pak and Cryptic Passage, are part of the package.

This is more than a visual touch up. The remaster has official backing from Warner Bros and Atari, allowing Nightdive to rework parts that were previously locked away. Community mods will also be integrated, opening the door to even greater creativity and longevity.

Not every fan is happy. Owners of Fresh Supply will not receive Refreshed Supply for free, though a loyalty discount is being offered. Some players are voicing frustration about having to repurchase a game they feel they already supported.

Even with the controversy, Blood Refreshed Supply looks set to become the definitive edition of a cult classic. If Nightdive delivers on stability and polish while staying true to the violent charm and atmosphere that made the original unforgettable, this revival could become a benchmark for how to remaster a beloved shooter.
