Free-to-Play FPS Delta Force Now Available on Consoles
Delta Force is back and this time console players are in the fight. The free-to-play tactical shooter has dropped on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, bringing its mix of classic large-scale battles and modern gunplay to a whole new crowd.
This revival is more than nostalgia bait. The game brings cross-play and cross-progression, letting console and PC players squad up or go head-to-head. Whether you’re on keyboard, controller, or even mobile, progress carries over — and you can limit matchmaking to your platform if you prefer.

Performance is solid too. Delta Force runs at a stable 60 FPS on all current-gen consoles, with higher frame rate options promised for the PS5 Pro later this year. Players can also toggle V-Sync off to unlock the frame rate if they want pure speed.

Alongside its competitive modes, the game includes a free Black Hawk Down campaign for those who want single-player or co-op missions. The mix of cinematic moments and large-scale firefights make it a strong choice for fans of both tactical shooters and military dramas.
Delta Force is here to reclaim its spot as a serious but accessible military shooter. With a free entry price and strong platform support, there’s little reason not to at least drop in for a few rounds.
