Moros Protocol Mixes Hotline Miami Brutality with Dead Space Atmosphere
Moros Protocol is shaping up to be one of the most striking genre mashups of late 2025, blending the relentless, fast paced violence you would expect from Hotline Miami with the atmospheric tension and cosmic dread of Dead Space.

In Moros Protocol, players awaken aboard The Orpheus, a derelict warship adrift in deep space and crawling with horrors. You emerge from cryogenic suspension, with no memory and only a disembodied voice guiding you forward. Survival depends on adaptability and precision, as you wield an eclectic arsenal that includes a katana, flamethrower, dual pistols, shotgun, and futuristic blasters. Combat is brutal and unforgiving, demanding quick reflexes and resourceful strategy.

The game’s visual style stands out with a pixel painted 3D aesthetic evoking early 2000s horror games like Doom 3 and Riddick Butcher Bay, combining gritty retro vibes with modern lighting and presentation.

A playable demo was available during Steam Next Fest in June 2025, giving fans an early taste of the tension and chaos.

Originally, Moros Protocol was slated for release on September 4, 2025, but the launch was later pushed to September 18, 2025, simultaneously on Steam and GOG, with a 6 pm BST release time.
